Terrible Luggage

I was quite surprised how bad this set was when we received it. The shell is just two hard plastic pieces held together in the center by some fabric. As we opened all the pieces we noticed that the stitching holding together the hard shell pieces was already unravelling on two of the pieces, the stitching was that bad. There is virtually no real design to these at all, just some cheap luggage parts thrown together very sloppily. I doubt this luggage would have survived two plane trips let alone multiple plane trips. We ended up returning them for a refund and purchased Hartman luggage instead. Certainly more money but in this case we would have lost our investment on these and had to pay for another set anyway so why not get better quality to start with? I hadn't realize just how much luggage quality had deteriorated since I purchased luggage 10 years ago. Really shocking to say the least. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is that the company Ebags took care of our return with great professionalism. I just wish the product had been better. Don't waste your money, pay a little more and buy some real luggage that will last from a respected manufacturer. Very disappointed.
